    Any word from Margarito yet?

Alright, so I am torn on whether Margo knew it or not. Sometimes fighters just show up to fight and are focused on the task at hand. Then again, if you are a professional fighter shouldn't you know what goes in to a hand wrap and what is the proper way it's done? Capatillo could have been doing this for a long time though and maybe Margarito could have thought it was normal.
Will any of the boxing insiders (preferably Ice Man John Scully) shed some light on this??
I'm not trying to hear any bull**** opinions about fan boys and casual fans who know nothing about the sport.. so if you don't have nothing intelligent to say please don't post in this thread.

Anyway, regardless if he knew or not he deserves the harshest punishment.
Lives are at risk when things like this happen and IMO they are inexcusable!
I want to know if there has been any word from Margarito since the suspension was announced this mourning also.. Does anyone have a link if so??

Well...my thing is this...why would they do it without him knowing? I find it hard to believe that he wasnt aware...it's possible, I suppose but he would surely find out...and if they did it before then he DEFINITELY knew...the thing becomes harder as times goes on...when they took them off it would take extra strength and time to cut the wraps off...ANYONE would know it wasn't normal

I saw this "I didn't know" and throw Capetillo under the bus the second I heard Margarito's interview on ESPN Deportes.

Glad to hear a pro's opinion on it Scully.

very good point!! also, are boxers instructed by the comission of what they can and can't have when it comes to gear and wraps as well or is it only the trainers?

I believe he knew it. I still wanna know whether or not this has happened in any of his other fights, but I guess they're never gonna say **** about it. In the meantime, I'll refrain from bashin him for it, but I ain't defendin him against others' criticism anymore. I lost faith in him today.

why incriminate yourself and get in even more trouble?

There is no way he admits to since that will almost definitely mean jail time......unless they give him some type of deal. Something like immunity if he confesses or they will investigate past fights and try and build a case on him. Similar to what they did with baseball players and the mitchel report.
