Increasing your fitness is not legal but not life threatening as plaster. That fight which Mosley supposedly used steriods, he lost to Oscar

I wouldn't use the Williams fight as an excuse but as an "example" of the non=plaster effect and no use of plaster.

A Margarito fan has an opinion and haters call it an excuse, laughable.

So you agree Margarito is a cheater using plaster??
Has he been found guilty by the boxing commission or is Feb.10 just a big orgy party?

The pats taped their opponents, a marathon runner didn't really run the whole marathon, shane used steriods, vargas used steroids, tito had illegal wraps, gsp is beign accused of vaselining his whole upper body in bjpenn fight, jordan used to push off, ewing used to hook you with the elbow, sprinters used steroids, chineese gymnast were too old etc etc etc! It's sports and people whatever they can to give them the best chance.
      example dlh vs floyd:

      dlh made floyd:
      agree to his money
      fight on cinco de mayo
      let dlh choose his gloves
let dlh choose the ring size
made floyd come up to 154
You're comparing that to loaded gloves, damn your ******. An advantage is something that will give you a small edge, loading up your wraps and trying to knock somebody heads off is not a small edge. With this post you showed your lack of intellegence, morality and that your willing to ride a mans **** no matter what he does as long as he's mexican. Dumb ****rider.

Fair question. In reality, unless there is evidence that shows he in fact did use the substance while performing in the ring the charge would actually be “attempted assault with the use of a deadly weapon”.

However, I doubt he would be charged with this lesser crime. More likely, the California State Athletic Commission would instead decide that this lesser crime falls under the scope of boxing's rules and regulations and instead would move forward with suspension.

Now, if proof came out that he actually did adapt his wraps for the purposes of inflicting serious physical injury and used them in the ring, it could be argued that it is beyond the scope of boxing and thus could turn into a criminal charge. Again, all of this is allegation and speculation until there is a hearing and/or criminal charges.

How ever you word it its only "assult" unless you know for a fact that he used this substance before then its "battery." Which carries a big penality then assult.

No one can compare any other type of 'assistance' to what Margarito tried doing or possibly has done before. Illegal wrapping is a crime. Adding more wraps isnt so bad but putting a 'hard plaster' over the warps is life threatning and an obvious felony.

This **** really shocked me. The thing is imagine if the plaster was found after the fight and Mosley was seriously damaged. Do you think he should be sent to prison over it? I think so.

Boxing is a dangerous sport already without this type of **** going on. And if he is found guilty, which is extremelly likely, what about his previous fights? If he's found guilty i hope Captevilo and Margarito openly admit if they've used the plaster before. For the sake of our sport, i hope they admit if they've used it before.

But one thing which we cannot forget is that Mosley didnt take many punches from Margarito. Cotto and Cintron took some punishment. This also comes into question as Margarito could argue that he was consistently landing on Cotto and Cintron throughout the fight. He may bring this arguement in when trying to justify his previous victories.

assault is " ima cut you up with this knife i got !" though you havent done it yet.
                  battery is actually doing it.

so maybe there is something in there, remember that the plaster like substance isnt in the gloves anymore when they fought,
if it wasnt caught and marg used it, and later on people found out, then i think its battery.

                    Wrong. Thats called a "threat."

Assult was thrown in the article because it fell out of the hand warps Margarito was going to go into the ring with, which fall into "intent" so he was going to use it he didn't say, "im going to use plaster" but had nothing in his wraps - assuming this was a plaster substance.
