So Do I, and I agree.
I have every one of shane's fights including a few of his amatuer fights, and his sparring sessions with Julio Cesar Chavez.
Every one of his interviews he sounds similar.

    Shane has SUPERB ring intelligence.
It's amazing how after a fight he can recollect what happened in certain rounds, and can analyze things so quickly.

    How's that for being 'punchy'?

    LOL

When was the last time you've seen Mosley in a brutal fight that would make one think he's getting hurt too much? His last competitive fight was against Cotto and though he was getting hit with shots, in no way did I think Mosley was hurt (stunned at times maybe).
    Exactly.

    He seemed tired.
Just stop to think of what he's going through right now.
Divorce can be depressing TO ANYONE!!! Doesn't matter WHO YOU ARE!

On top of that I'm sure the media inteviews/attacks must be exhausting.

Don't lose perspective. The man just made it to the top of division at age 37. Give him a little respect while he enjoys his glory.

He's not half as bad as some boxers. Holyfield is pretty bad. Foreman came out okay. Frazier is another semi-bad one. Mosely's headed down that stretch, but he's not as bad. Surprisingly, Hopkins hasn't had too much trouble with this speech. I think it's because he thinks before he speaks. Pacquiao's gonna end up with a slur.

There are some boxers out there who relatively get out of the game unscathed.

Yes. Boxing is a very very brutal sport. It's a tough game. It's a game where they separate the men from the boys.

he's not slurring his words. but i can see how some especially
        britts would think so.
thats just the venacular of the way some blacks talk.
if you grew up in an urban area in america you'd recognize that.

Logically, I dont know how anyone would pick up on him slurring when he's never been beat down that bad or had the type of wars that would leave him beginning to sound like Tommy Hearns, Meldrick Taylor, etc.
i came to this conclusion based strictly on that interview, i wouldn't think he's taken enough blows to the head to officially be punch drunk (although he has taken some mean shots in the past) either way, everyones different

look at hagler, he's been in wars but he doesnt seem punchy to me

Frazier is really bad now IMO. A couple years ago I saw an interview on ESPN and he was working the heavy bag and he sounded awful.

Hopkins is not punch drunk in the slightest. Why? You rarely see him get hit with a totally flush shot. The fact that Hopkins isn't punch drunk doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

I think Roy Jones is headed down punchy ave.

That's because he retired at 33 and never came back.

Meldrick Taylor is the worst case of slurring by far.

I actually don't think Frazier's that bad considering the punishment he took.
