I don't blame Ricky Hatton for wanting 50-50, he knows this fight will sell and he wants a lot of money because even he knows he will get beat by Pacman, with that said, It would be fair 60-40 because Pacman is the p4p best fighting in the world at the moment and is comming of his biggest win(Which I predicted btw).

To get back to the original issue, how about a points bet between us. If this fight is done, Ill bet all points I have up until fight night for Pacquaio to KO or TKO Hatton before 8th Round. Any other result you win. Even odds.

Look at it like this, you have been busting your ass at work for years and have been doing your job above the other guy who is just a mediocre employee. The mediocre employee brings in customers because he has good customer service relations, but as far as the overall job of the employee, he performs at a mediocre level, doesnt close customers, does the minimum, etc.

Now heres you, you dont bring in that many employees but close customers the second you engage with them. You get the overall job done in an extremely impressive fashion getting all the assignments complete and sometimes going above and beyond expectations. You been nominated employee of the year by your peers numerous times. You even handled the responsibility of the manager which wasnt your job anyways but you accepted the task and completed the challenge in an extraordinary fashion.

Now ask yourself, dont you feel you deserve more the Mr. Mediocre who only brings in customers but never closes the deal or performs the job in an extraordinary level.

See? How does that make any sense? Seriously? How does this make sense? Peso Pacquiao cannot get anywhere near as much with any other fighter at any weight level. Hatton can and does with most guys he fights. He could have a monstrous fight with Witter that would make him as much money as this fight. I don't think many people understand that. We've seen what Pac's biggest fights generate as well as his smaller fights and they don't even bare comparison to Hatton.

Man, you guys are so far off track with this. Why does Pac deserve more? Because he's P4P king? Does that mean if Flopyd comes back to fight Peso that he should get more than Pac because the only reason Pac is P4P is because Floydboy is not fighting?

I'm confused as to what everyone's argument is. No one bitched and whined about Pac getting half of what Oscar did any their fight because, as P4P king, he should have had the bigger %. The planned May 2 fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton would push through after all, this was according to a spokesman for Top Rank big boss Bob Arum.

According to The Guardian’s online edition, the week-long deadlock about the revenue split has been resolved and Arum expects Pacquiao to make an official announcement by Friday to confirm that his fight against the British boxer would take place in Las Vegas.

No other details were disclosed but the Filipino boxing icon, who cemented his status as the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter, is likely to agree on the 52-48 revenue split also proposed by Arum.

GMANews.TV tried to get Pacquiao’s comment but he did not answer or return our calls.

Pacquiao has earlier indicated that he won’t fight Hatton unless the revenue split made in his favor. He has been demanding a 60-40 split from the total proceeds of the total revenue purse since he further gained world recognition after his eighth round win against Oscar De La Hoya last year.

Hatton’s camp, however, wanted a 50-50 sharing deal after already reaching a verbal agreement with Arum.

Arum has suggested a 52-48 split favoring Pacquiao, who is expected to rake in between $20 to 40 million depending on the draw of pay-per-view television audience.

Ray Hatton, Ricky’s father and manager, has threatened to drop out of the fight if Pacquiao would insist on the 60-40 split. He added that he could arrange another super-fight for his son, a match that could also draw a huge crowd.

Two of the venues being eyed for the Pacquiao-Hatton fight are the MGM Grand Garden or the Thomas Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao is expected to watch Antonio Margarito defend his World Boxing Association welterweight title against “Sugar" Shane Mosley on January 23 in Los Angeles. – GMANews.TV

Finally i'm seeing the light at the end of the dark tunnel. It will probably not end here, but at least we are now talking about a 3 percent difference instead of 10. The deal will probably be made at 53-47. First round of the (psychological) bout to Pacquiao. MABUHAY ang PILIPINAS!
