penalosa has never been knocked down his entire career. l can't see this ending via early stoppage. he has very good defense and is technically sound.

if juanma does ko him, it would be due to sustained damage, or probably a cut. i think gerry survives 12 though

gerry is old but still very good. good enough that juanma would lose if he underestimates him.

gonna root for the underdog on this one. WAR GERRY!

      WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

i know what u mean.. and u are definitly right... i dont want to diss gerry.. in any aspect.. hes just a great boxer with great skills...

im happy because.. everyone was telling that juanma was facing bums in his last 2 fights... and they are so right on that...

so im just happy that finally juanmas promoter are willing to put enough decent money.. to get a challenger like the caliber of gerry!!!!

with that being said..!!! juanmas youth and talent.. will be 2 much for gerry to hanlde.....

      i expect a ko/tko withing 6-9 rounds

marquez is his mandatory.. and we will see if he doesnt get a fight with caballero... we will see that fight.. unless he price himself out.. or just move up in weight...

i expect that from now on... juanmas opponetns will get better and better

          Hope you're right about that.

Yea, Marquez mentioned moving up in weight. But I hope these 2 meet in the ring someday.

If this fight is in Puerto Rico, I will most definately be there. So Juanma just toy around with him for a while and let it go on for at least six. Then knock his ass out with a vicious right hook.

this would be a great win for juanma unlike the medina and the figueroa fight. i see him as boxing's next superstar. this is actually the first time i'll root againts him.

its nice to see Gerry fighting at this level at this stage of his career. if he's going down, he's going down guns blazzzing!

it will be @ el choliseo or @ ruben rodriguez en bayamon..

i rather preffer the ruben rodriguez!! if they do the card in el choliseo.... it will be more expensive....

I would rather it be at Ruben Rodriguez too, but more than likely it will be in the choliseo. Any Juanma fan better attend, the way this kid is going. I doubt if we're going to see many of his fight in Puerto Rico again.
