The lower weightclasses should be eliminated, bad for the game

First of all I refuse to call boxing a "sport" simply because it isnt, its an arena where modern gladiators fight to the finish. A barbaric practice and thats why we are attracted to it.
Second and to my main point, boxing should eliminate weightclasses below lightweight as it is hindering the sport. Aint nobody wanna see mini men, it would like watching the special Olympics or midget wrestling.

Boxers who weigh under 135lbs are not athletes, they are males stuck in female bodies.
People like Ricardo Lopez who dominated the lower divisions shouldnt even be in the HOF or be mentioned on a boxing forum, the only exception should be Prince Nasseem because he was exciting.

Some of the best fights in the last few years have been in the lower weight classes, You dont need a roll call do you?

I have to admit, the very lowest weight classes are very hard to follow and watch.

I wouldnt want to get rid of them...But I think they should condense them. like combine Minimumweight through Flyweight. The fighters themselves would be better off that way.

you diss the lower weight classes but go out of your way to make an exception for hamed because he was 'exciting' in your eyes...that's all open to interpretation

Boxing is a sport for one... and why eliminate lower weight classes, there's been and potentially are some great fights in the lower weight classes. I don't know why i commented on this thread its absolutely pointless.

The smaller fighters have played an important role in keeping boxing alive the past few years.

Vasquez, Darchinyan, the Marquez brothers, Pacquiao (won his fiirst workd title at 112), Morales, Mayweather (started at 130), Barrera, and others are VERY GOOD for the sport of boxing.

Thats certainly true.... Below Featherweight they dont need Super/Junior divisions.

Should just be Flyweight 112 and down

                    Bantamweight from there to 118

Superbantam can be folded into Featherweight.
