Why Is Floyd So Huge and Zab Isnt?

You same guys trying to act like Floyd is huge are the same guys who say that Zab needs to move back down to 140 because he's too small to compete at WW. Zab was fighting at 140 in the amatures when Floyd was at like 106. I have alot of boxing matches on tape. Recently I was looking for a Sweet Pea fight and I came accross Floyd vs Mitchell, Zab, and Baldy. There is no way in hell that you can watch those 3 fights and say that Floyd belongs at WW, Floyd is a natural WW, or that Floyd is closer to Margarito & Cotto then he is to Pac. Floyd looks like a little boy in those fights. He's flat as a board and every single fight he came into the ring at a 148 pounds. Everything about him looks thin.

He is still the only guy in boxing who fights at his walk around weight. People keep talking about Floyd is just small outside the ring because he works out all the time but that is garbage. You can clearly see that he's just not a big guy. You can even look at him when he goes to other sporting events. He's just not big. I remember 2 years ago that there were articles before the Oscar fight that said that he's neve weighed a 150 pounds in his life. He doesnt even walk around at that weight. Then you have a guy like Pac who walks around big outside the ring and comes into the ring as big as Floyd and its not fake. All you have to do is watch fights and you can seperate the real from the fake. There's a reason why Pac started killing the Mexicans at the lower weights. He started making EM & MAB look like little boys in the ring. He was physicaly way too imposing while Floyd has to stick & move against most any WW. I love how everyone use to say that Cotto was way bigger then Floyd but now since Cotto got killed by Margarito & Margaito made him look small, everyone says that Floyd and Cotto are the same size. There not at all. That just proves how big Margarito is.

Then I was watching Sweet Pea vs Ramirez, McGirt, and Nelson. You can easily see that is where Floyd belongs. 135-140. Even the guys at 140 are easily naturally bigger. There is no way you can watch Floyd in those 3 fights that I named in the begining and then watch Malignaggi vs N'Goudu and think that Floyd is bigger. Those guys are clearly bigger. I just dont see how everyone thinks Zab is too small to fight at WW but they think Floyd is, just because he's had some success there and is a inch taller. Im sick of people talking about height. It has nothing to do with anything. Look at Margarito and Mike Tyson. Are they the same size? Floyd might be 5'8 but he's a thin guy. He always has been and always will be. Thats why I bet anything that after fighting for all this time at WW, having 1 fight at 154, and being retired for 2 years where he's done nothing, that he will still easily make 140 for the Pac fight. Easily

He's a small welterweight in comparrison to some of the welterweights today. Its certainly not his best weight.

ZAB is not Floyd, People want to see Floyd lose. If given a choice between Pacquaio or Paul Williams
They rather watch floyd fight williams just because they think that is his best chance to lose...

that why they try to say he is the same size as williams because they want to justify this fight as a fair fight in terms of size.

Floyd is skilled enough to make up for the size deficit. Zab is not.

Because he's not as good, or charismatic, and he's goofy-looking.

Floyd's boys don't want any part of him fightin at WW cuz they can't stand the thought of him gettin beat, despite the fact that he'd likely beat everybody at 147 by UD.

Floyd is a little guy and so is Zab. So the point of this thread is what? Floyd shouldn't fight guys at 147 even though he is at 147?

                    Like who?

The reason that some people argue that Zab should move down in weight is because, in most cases, if a boxer can make 140lbs he is more likely to effective at that weight than he would be at 147lbs. With Zab, you have the added factor that he has already lost to Cotto, Clottey and Mayweather, so it's pretty much beyond debate that he is not one of the best in that division.

As for Pacquiao, he is not one of the best welterweights in the world. That is the opinion of most people. The Ring apparently have him rated #5, and many consider that too high.

Floyd fans like yourself keep on arguing that Mayweather is not that much bigger than Pac. The point is that Mayweather went to 147. Many of his fans claimed that he was the best at that weight. Then he chose not to fight the best at that weight. To then come back and fight a lightweight at welterweight is deserving of criticism IMO.
