this talk of floyd being a small welterweight has got to stop

floyd trains 24/7 all year round, he walks around fighting shape so he doesnt need to put on any water weight after weigh ins.

he is clearly bigger than pacquiao, hatton, marquez etc he is a natural welterweight and he only doesnt add extra weight after weigh ins to mantain speed much like cotto did against margarito.

hes definitely a smaller welterweight.. being in shape has absolutely ZERO to do with being natural smaller at a particular weight...

The guy IS a small WW, he fought for most of his career under 135.

31 fights at 135 and under, 8 at 140 and over.

        You do the math.

There isnt TWO WW divisions are there?

            Am I missing something?

Big welter and small welters ? arent their too many weight classes ALREADY for us to be dividing them up.

            WW is WW....no excuses.

If you are the BEST fighter in the world then fighting bigger guys IN YOUR WEIGHT classes should not be a problem...

by this logic Margarito is def a WW and PW is a middle weight.
