...It doesn't get more dishonorable than that.

Thank you very much, that is common sense, This guy think the haters would say Mayweather get credit losing. They would be saying he was exposed and so on

You are so blind. If you really think people in these forum would give Mayweather credit losing to Margarito. That is plain ****** seriously
Hatton is the man at 140, what is wrong Mayweather fighting him at HIS best weight class

Where's the "none of the above" option?

He gets credit for winning against Margarito.

its the manning up and fighting a real threat that gets him the credit

in no way shape or form is hatton a threat at any weight to floyd

He already beat Hatton very decisivley. If he fought him again, regardless of weight, it would be clear as day that he was doing it just for the money. In which case, no he shouldn't get credit for.

He does get credit for KO'ing Hatton in the first fight though. I just don't need to see it again, it's a waste of time.

you gain nothing in defeat unless you're a journeyman and surpass expectations by going 12 rounds or winning a few. no matter what anyone says, losses are never good for your career. when you're 39-0, there are no learning experiences left nor is there room for a loss to a slow, one-dimensional, no talent chin like Margarito.

people will vote for margo and losing for 2 reasons
                    1-fighting hatton again is dumb
2-and they want him 2 lose

What the hell is manning up then losing??? You fight to win or then you get no credit.

Cotto get no credit losing and quitting against Margarito.

Exactly what type credit will people be saying. I give credit to Mayweather losing
