well he is maturing, and filling out more therefore i currently see him as a natural 135-140ish on the high side.

I've always thought of him at a mature weight of 135 or so...but seeing his weight of 147 for the Diaz fight and Freddie saying Pac can't make 135; that kind of shocked me. Pac was also training at 152 or so and had to lose weight. He is absolutely shredded at 149. I would think a natural lighteweight moving up to that weight would be a little more soft, but Pac isn't.

I don't know what to think. I guess I will have to go with JrWW right now since 149 tends to be what JrWW weigh-in at by fight time.

Manny certainly trains hard and moves up because he has to and not because he is to lazy to train the extra weight off.

pac's best weight is 130, where he still obliterates his opponents. at 135 he's still among the best punchers there, but he doesn't have the same pop cause the guys at 135 handle power better.

at 140 I'm guessing he will have a lot of fights going the distance as 140 lbers should be able to handle his power. IMHO Pac can still make 135 if he wanted to. he's only 148 lbs on fight night.

when Pac first fought JMM, and although he just beat the **** out of Barrera @126, i still thought of him more like a 'natural super bantam'

when he first fought Erik, i saw him more as a 'natural featherweight'

against Oscar, he was more like a 'natural lightweight', at best


thing is - he keeps on jumping weight classes.

looking back, SRL, Duran, Hearns have done the same. i've given up on this speculative "natural weight" thingy
