    Boxing needs excitement!

EXCITEMENT! More than anything else right now, is what boxing needs. Exciting fighters will get boxing back on its feet. We need less Wlad Klitschkos and Peters and more Arreolas and Hayes. More Margaritos, Cottos and Clotteys and less Mayweathers. More Pacquiaos, Juan Diazes and Hattons and less Guzmans and Demetrius Hopkins.

Bring excitement back in boxing! Support fighters who would do less running and clinching and more actual boxing! Don't let this sport become as gay as male-to-male-dry-humping MMA!

Agreed in part. But you got to look at it from a fighters point of view. Especially an established fighter. Why would you change what is working for you. They are dominating and every one talks about who is out there that can possibly beat them. Now if your an upand comer like areola hayes and so on they need to be exciting to make a statement and get more attention. I'll tell you this I've seen it in mma and boxing once you get caught ko'd or close to it every one goes back if not in that fight in there next fight to being more cautious and what every one calls that boring fighter. I see it so often in mma when one fighter is so skilled and can keep the other at bay but knows that possibilty of gettin caught is there because it has happened or came close to it. Every one goes on to call them boring instead of skilled. I agree it can go to far but I don't think the Klits are that kind of boring fighter just haven't been challenged as of late. Most all of those exciting fighters that go out there and leave it all on the line usually don't have that long of a career is just what I'm saying.

No, I disagree. Boxing has and always will have exciting fighters. What the sport needs most right now is structure and better promotion like fights on network TV for example.

Someone will always be the exciting guy, but something needs to be done about the nose dive the sport has taken over the last decade or so. Otherwise boxing is destined to be a 2nd rate sport for all time.

And all I'm saying is they don't have the right to charge PPV if they would be clinching and running 75% of the time, however effective that style have been for them in their rise to their supposed superstardom.

Vitali Klitschko is an exciting fighter!

There's no boxer I'd sooner watch.

I didn't see that much clinching in either of there recent fights nor did they run. But as for ppv i agree with that most of the fights today don't deserve ppv. Earlier I read a post as to weather or not Pac Hatten was a ppv worthy fight in the see of ppv fights we have today fights like that damn sure are but as they weren't ppv quality nor where they ppv fights. When faced with a good fighter Vitali Klitschko imo is very exciting and ppv worthy. If your post was pointed at Klits if not. I apologize for the misunderstanding. But would you be as disapointed in the fights if you whatced them on pub tv hbo box after dark or show time non ppv. You wouldn't more than likely be content on calling them boring lackluster or what have you. IMO ppv is the main killer of boxing and the cause of people getting so upset and calling the fights boring and what have you. And yeah some of the fights are just down right rediculously boring to whatch from time to time. But take the good with the bad. I guess my question is would you think they where as boring if they didn't cost you 50 bucks a pop?
