    One Question about mayweather

Alls I wanna know is how does mayweather have such a hard time with oscar and only winning a split decision yet manny can demolish oscar in 7 rounds.

Im not trying to say manny is better than floyd cause manny beat oscar better just if mayweather really is one of the best fighters of our generation he should of been able to beat oscar way more convincingly then he did.

The Oscar that fought Floyd was a completely different beast to the one that Manny fought.

Not trying to take any credit away from Pac, that is just the way it is.

oscar was clearly weight drained with pacman fighting his first southpaw in 12 years...floyd shouldve won a ud..we all know goldenboy has atleast 1 ref
ex..one ref gave oscar rounds in the pac fight

Maybe, but something wasn't right with DLH. If you couldn't see that find another sport.

I know he wasnt the same but in my opinion if you put manny in the fight two years ago he does the same thing to oscar

I dont never look at stuff in boxing like that and I think too many do. Why does it have to be that a guy sucks because another guy beat someone easier then he did? 1st off as I always say, Pac is pretty much the same size if not bigger then Floyd. Floyd fought Oscar at 154. Floyd came into the ring weighing 148 just as Pac did but Oscar came into the ring weighing close to 170 pounds while he was only a 147 against Pac. Oscar was coming off a KO of a very solid and tough guy in Mayorga while now Oscar was coming off a fight at 150 against Forbes where he looked like a shell of himself and got hit more times in that fight then he did in his whole career, plus had his face busted up. Oscar had a clear big size advantage over Floyd while he was just taller against Pac. His legs looked like old man legs.

Then you have the 2 different styles. Because of the size advantage, the fact that Oscar just KO Mayorga, the fear of fighting at 154 for the 1st time, and having everyone including your dad who trained Oscar tell you to be very careful because his left hook will stop you. Floyd was just going to be cautious while Pac is always aggressive. Pac is also a lefty which gave Oscar a ton of trouble and he looked like crap in his previous fight.

Again though, even if everthing were equal then maybe Pac's aggressive style was going to work better then Floyd pot shotting but that doesnt mean he will beat Floyd or that he's better then Floyd. You see stuff like that happened all the time in boxing. Floyd barely beat Castillo and Hatton killed him but look what happened when they fought? Taylor beat Hopkins twice, lost to Pavlik twice, and Hopkins kills Pavlik. Its just boxing. The #1 thing Im trying to say is that if Floyd is fighting someone much bigger then him then he will box, and be cautious while Pac will just go hard at him so he has a much better chance to look better in that kind of fight.

PBF did not have a hard time with Oscar. PBF just stayed on the defensive mode most of the fights.
