Hatton is not a protected fighter. Maybe under Warren he was but most of his prime fights have been fought on foreign soil, against high opposition.
Paulie has only fought one good fighter in Cotto and has struggled with sub standard guys in his last few fights. He is a typical uninformed twat who does not know his knees from his elbows.
I still think Paulie will steal a win on Saturday, but this is not a prime Hatton and I will give him no credit for it.

You will not give Paulie credit for a win over Hatton?
Hopefully you didn't give Joe credit for beating Hopkins and Roy either.

Paulie said it himself. Hatton is a talentless fighter who has only fought old guys. If Paulie gives Hatton no credit how can you expect me to give him credit for a win over a person he feels is not a very good boxer.

I'm asking you based on your own opinion, not his.
For instance: I disagree with Joe in regards of his "great" wins over two "legends"; Roy and Hopkins, but give him credit for Kessler and Lacy, even though I said Lacy was overrated before-hand.
Joe played it smart by trying to boost their credibility based on their past, but it didn't work with me nor should it have with anyone with two eyes and a brain.
I always think it's best to try to play up your opponent because it can fool some people.
Paulie's not exactly a fresh fighter either: He's had more surgeries on his hand than Joan Rivers had on her face. And, he took a beating against Cotto.
I understand what you are saying though...and kind of agree

In my opinion if Paulie beats Hatton like I think he will then he will get a little credit. This is not a prime Hatton, so I don't think people should give Paulie too much praise if he wins.
And Paulie only has bad hands. If his hands don't break during the fight, they aren't a problem.
