Former WBO welterweight champ Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19KOs) is still in dark as to the opponent for his return on October 25 in Puerto Rico. Quintana will be fighting at 152-pounds, testing the waters for a potential move to the junior middleweight divisions. He would like a third fight with Paul Williams or a possible fight with Antonio Margarito. He might also try to get WBC champ Andre Berto, who shares the same promoter as Quintana [Lou DiBella]. quintana should get some money fights @ ww before leaving. he doesnt need to fight pw again. berto, judah, collazo, cintron, and margarito would all be good matchups for him. he can look better in these matchups as none them will ko him in rd1

if quintana would have stuck to his game plan like he did in his first fight wit PW
then he would have boxed PW ears of again but instead try to go for a knock out in the second...thats where he screwed up.

kind of true... but we cant deny that williams came out like a lion in that fight!!
it will be really hard for el indio to get another chance... he will have to work all the way to the top again.. hopefully dibella will help him

Quintana is a better fighter than appreciated, though he got destroyed by Cotto, he still looked decent (boxing wise) against him. I still think he may be a better boxer than Williams.
