i got a feeling this fight is gonna be fixed because both roy and calzaghe are promoting the fight themselves. a similar thing happened when B-hop fought DLH. could RJJ vs Calz be fixed?. they were both talking about having a second fight and prhaps even a trilogy. whatever happens i will be real disapointed if the fight ends a draw, or if we have a questionable decision which demands a rematch...

Originally posted by Spiegelo View PostYou're right a lot of people did, but people are idiots you gotta see the fight for yourself. I saw Hopkins outboxing Oscar and torturing him downstairs where he can't take punishment, and then landing the perfect counter to an exposed liver. Wasn't the first time Hopkins pulled it off, and it doesn't surprise me that he did it to an out of shape smaller Oscar De La Hoya. Also why would Oscar do it, to gain Bernard's super business knowledge in his promotion company? Maybe to draw in his endless fan base... No, unless Oscar bet 10 mill on hopkins, there is no reason in hell he would have fixed the fight. Nobody can buy out oscar except oscar himself.

I'm glad though, nut huggers make it hard to be a fan. I love Pacquiao, but his fans can be unbearable.

All his fights together didn't do what Oscar got against Mayweather. Bernard is just not the type of fighter that can help benefit anybody's career. Even Calzaghe couldn't get a PPV fight with him. I love the guy, but he is extremely underrated and will never have a large fan base.
