I didnt like the guy, expected him to win though, wouldn't have expected him to take a beating like that though. Looks as though he took a page from Paulie Malignaggi's book on How to go down like a Spartan.

I titled the video "PILGRIMAGE". It has a double meaning.
1) It's the name of the song
2) Margarito symbolically went on a pilgrimage Saturday night.

As I said in another post, I'm far from finished with this project. The goal wasn't to show a highlight real; the goal is to create a video that hits your over the head with emotion. By combining certain angles, repeating clips, intense music, etc. My goal when the video is through is for someone to watch it and go "DAMN THAT WAS INTENSE".

Suggestions are appreciated. I know I need to get the syncing of the audio with the motion corrected, insert a few more clips in real time rather than so many slow motion ones and come up with a solid end to the video. Like I said, I've got a lot of work to do before this one is done.

You need to start it with clips of Cotto with his kids from the countdown show, and then go into the onslaught.

I was on bloodlust mode the night of the fight, lost my voice and everything from yelling like a madman, I was in violence trance and enjoyed seeing that beating, however the day after I re-watched the fight in a more relaxed and cool manner and was sometimes too gruesome to watch, felt really bad for Cotto afterwards.

Margarito hits like a ****ing mule man, he swings those body hooks and uppercuts like a ****ing baseball bat for real, they seem so slow but all that impact just breaks you down. Great fight.

That's actually going to be mixed into the middle of it. As you could tell I didn't keep things sequential on purpose. When you see a bloody Cotto looking nearly dead, then the next clip is a happy picture with his kids, it screws with your emotions. I have about 15 isolated clips I haven't had a chance to inject into the video yet. Depending on how those turn out, I'll probably shift around a few of the current ones. Slow done some, speed up others, etc..

I'll also add video of buildings crumbling, lions devouring antelope, etc. Anything that further helps ram the point of the video home. I'll let someone else create a highlight film showing how great the fight was. I like focusing on the darker side of things.
