Roy Jones Jr. is pretty much a shot fighter, well past his prime and a shell of his former self. That said, if Jones can bring even a little of his old skill level into this fight, he can beat Calzaghe.

I have never wanted to see an old fighter turn back the clock more than I do in this one, and I sincerely hope Roy can KO Joe, he certainly won't be able to decision Calzaghe.

Roy needs to turn back the clock on this one.

Depends on the tixx price lol. I remember they had $50 tixx for the Cotto-Mosley fight which I was close to going, but I would go if it was Pavlik fighting Calzaghe no doubt.

I can't believe it but I actually would've preferred DLH-Floyd II as the big September 2008 fight.

This is calzaghes last hoo rah and jones still has some gas in the tank... somewhat of a pick em fight in my opinion but i see calzaghe taking this one.

I don't know where people get this idea that Jones is back to his "old" self. Sure Jones is on a winning streak but at 39 years old he's definitely shot. But we might see some of the old Roy Jones again, kind of like how Duran managed to get back his old self when he beat Iran Barkley.

Tarver-Dawson, Diaconu-Johnson, and now Calzaghe-Jones. Things are heating up in the LHW division again.
