We've seen him in the ring knocking people out left and right. He comes forward and follows a jab with a straight. He doesn't provide many angles and is pretty predictable, yet he is still unbeaten. If you were a trainer, how you prepare for Pavlik?

What gameplan do you feel would be the best to defeat Pavlik?

Sugar Ray Leonard style: "Dip, and slide" like he did against Hagler.
Really whoever is to beat Kelly would really just need to get in, land a few good combination punches and get out, use footwork and angles to offset Kelly's punching power. Whether Kelly is ordinary or not he'll knock you the **** out if you're not constantly moving.

This type of conversation is one of the reasons why I think Hopkins would beat Pavlik at 160, if he was in his prime. He's too crafty, uses his footwork to his advantage, and would never let Pavlik stand in front of him long enough to hit him with enough flush right hands.
Straight right hands all night on Pavlik's chin.

You have to make Kelly reset but he's long, really long, it's hard to jump in and out or sideways for all 12. Zaghe with his size and speed could do it. Kessler might be able to do it. Abraham might knock him out. Forget about Winky though. The Winkster would likely be massacred only if his monetary demands come down a bit and Bob Arum grows bigger balls.
