Depends what you mean by "another Lacy"

If you mean he has had his heart and fight beaten out of him, then no.

If you mean he was overrated and shouldn't have been a champ in the first place, then yes.

i use to hate taylor for the fact they basically stole the title from hopkins.but after the pavlik fights i like the guy.

168 is wayyyyyyy wayyyy to strong a division for a guy of taylors abilities to make a mark, Taylor is an overrated fighter, i have said this for a long time i mean think about it, He fought two debatable fights with b-hop fought to a controversial draw with winky beat the heck out of kassim ouma but then fought a close contraversial decision with cory spinks and lost twice to kelly pavlik, Now you can make a case that he has onlly won 1 of his last 7 fights, I think he actualy won 3 of his last 7, but still thats not a great fighter

I think Jermain Taylor is going to make a good comeback.

Up until he met pavlik, no one in the division could touch taylor...or come close...he was just blowing by all the guys he fought after the second hopkins fight...

I dont think taylor is overrated or a gimmick...i think he just met a fighter who he couldnt beat (same way hopkins couldnt beat taylor). it happens.

I think too many people get scared after a loss (well two; but to the same fighter).

I dont know if taylor will be the CHAMP of a division again...he could, he could not...too early to tell since we havent seen him fight since the second pavlik fight. but i believe he can win some titles again.

Thats another thing; from what i seen in the second taylor/pavlik fight it didnt appear as if he lost his heart or the will to fight. he looked just as good in the second fight as he did in the first fight.

To be honest i had taylor ahead on points at the time of stoppage in the first fight...and if he wouldnt have gotten wild when he had pavlik hurt he probably could have stopped him...he just used up all his energy swinging like a madman; if he would have kept his composure he could have won the fight.

In the second fight he looked better than the first time around and used his smarts and box...

i just think pavlik is one of those guys he cant beat.

I think he can bounce back and have a good run at 168. His biggest problem right now is his stamina, he needs to work on that.
