Cotto has been DUCKING Floyd since 140..

The weight-draining punk can't even say his name..
How many times have i OWNED u on the subject of "who ducked who at 140?" I post the quotes, and all u do is act like Ray Charles. Lets see if u respont this time. LOL

“Cotto needs a couple more tune-ups. Right now he’s a little too green,” Mayweather said.
Those words come from a man with few other options if: A) His legal situation puts him on ice; or, B) Main Events uses the legal situation to protect Gatti’s burgeoning franchise from the risk of a Mayweather fight.

Roger Mayweather said he considers Tszyu the true champion, but thinks Cotto actually would be his nephew’s most difficult fight at 140 pounds.

As he watched the buzz circulate, Cotto was asked this week if he considers himself Mayweather’s new chief nemesis. A broad grin crossed his face.

"We’re rivals,” Cotto said. “Mayweather is a star of the sport and we’re in the same company. Mayweather was a great champion at 130 and 135. We don’t know about 140. When the company says the time is right to make the fight, I’ll fight him. I think it's a good fight. I know Mayweather's a great fighter. But I know I can beat him
    Hold that!

      You're hate is blinding you..

Baldomir PROVED he was better than Gomez by not losing in 10 years and BEATING the UNIFIED Welterweight Champion..

Gomez could not last the distance with Vernon Forrest and he sure as hell can't beat Zab Judah..

I think Gomez is a little bit better of a boxer than Baldomir, but I think Baldo beats him.

Regardless, Floyd fought who he had to fight in order to claim the Lineal Welterweight Championship and make himself appealing to De La Hoya. If it had been a Clottey, a Margarito or a Cintron, he would have fought them. Just so happened it was Baldo.

Getting the Oscar fight was always Floyd's objective, not dominating Welter.

Now he's gonna tax that ass again while waiting for some of these other options to really start cooking. One of Cotto or Marg is gonna make theyselves very attractive to Floyd real soon.

Floyd called out Tszyu..Hatton..Cotto..and Gatti after the Brusseles fight..

Larry Merchant and Max Kellerman tried to PRY the name Mayweather out of Cotto's mouth..to no avail..

They were clearly dissapointed by Miguel's lack of balls

All those videos were posted on here. Cotto has pride he wont give gayweather that satisfaction. there are many other fighters like margo, clottey, berto, that he can fight.

Dominating WW was never Floyd's objective???

mayweather was on the radio yesterday.he said he is going to knock out hatton by the 5 round. he said that he is going to be the one pressing the fight, right from the bell and hatton isn't going to be ready for it. also he said that shane will knock out cotto, and if some how cotto wins he won't fight him because there is no money in it, which is a lie.he will fight shane if shane wins, which would be an awesome fight, but if shane doesn't win he wants to fight the winner of paul williams and cintron because he said he's not going to retire now until he unfies the welterweight division, "4 more fights is all i need to be unfied champ, maybe even 3, and once i'll do that then i will retire, 8 or 9 belts in 5 weight classes, talk about crazy".

Wasn't the DLH fight at 154, so would it have matter which belt he brought to the fight instead of that bum Baldomir's belt, he would have faced Margarito a much more credible champion and a higher payday to boot? Would that have made him any less appealing to DLH?

The Lineal Welterweight Championship was required to make himself attractive to Oscar.

                      @Deevel79
Floyd's primary objective was always the De La Hoya fight. Those comments were attributed to Floyd *after* the Oscar fight, and he can still achieve them. Starting with the winner of Cotto/Marg.
