Cotto has already beat Quintana who is a current title holder, and he is going to take on the winner of Cintron/Margarito. If he was to win that fight, why shouldnt a Floyd/Cotto fight take place? What more would Cotto need to prove?

1ST PART:

I have come to the Conclusion that Cotto Fans and Floyd Haters just don’t want to hear This....
I have being Stating Facts like this for Months and all they see in Cotto is that "Cotto" is the next person who the public thinks can possible beat Floyd...but their is one problem with this
They don’t even actually think that cotto can really beat Floyd...you will get a Selective few who believe it but not a majority...

That's what Makes Fights Great when both Sides think their Guy can win...
Right Now nobody really believes Cotto can Beat Floyd

They think Cotto can give Floyd a good Match but they do not think and believe He can actually beat Floyd,

Even the most hardcore Cotto fans will say if Floyd runs and boxes Cotto. Cotto will lose... They think the only way Floyd can lose is if Cotto can cut off the ring and Pressure Floyd..

Ask yourself this question
Has Floyd ever lost a fight where somebody did that....??

The answer is "No"

2ND PART:

*But it shouldn’t be that way, they should think No matter what Cotto will win...And right Now Cotto is not at the point where people actually think cotto can win...

*In Floyds Last 2 fights With Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya you had over 4 million people buying P.P.V at $59.95
Because they believe that their guy can actually beat Floyd

*That kind of belief is not with Cotto right now, they think Cotto can give Floyd a good fight but they do not Believe Cotto can Win...

3 Elements are needed for a Great Fight
1. Both Fighters Must Have a Huge Fan Base
2. Both Fighters Fans must believe that their fighter can win
3. Casual Fans must want to see the fight because they believe that both fighters can lose

And those 3 Elements are Not there with Cotto


*That's why I 100% agree with the statement that Cotto must win very impressive in his next 2 fights to convince more people he can actually beat Mayweather.

*Because Floyd’s stock is so high right now
That people are not going to buy a fight which they think Floyd is just going win another boring fight... They want to see Floyd actually get beat...

I agree with your post.Remember When nobody cared who Margarito was and did`nt think much of him until Mayweather turned a fight down with him.

All of a sudden Margarito was a big bad Everybody scared of him fighter.Then when he lost to Williams alot of them jumped off the band wagon.

And now Cotto is the one that Suppose to beat Mayweather.
