I have seen Floyd on Classic but when you refer to a classic fight its not just a one sided beat down usally, a clasic fight usally means a war!

The reason people call boxers like floyd runners is because they just potshot off their back foot all fight long and coast to a point victory instead of taking the fight to the guy. The major difference between guys like SRL, sweet pea compared to floyd is that they moved just as well if not better but were NEVER out of range and NEVER coasted by only throwing 1 punch at a time. Whitaker would make a guy whiff, throw 3, make the guy whiff again and throw a 1-2 all within a 2 step distance. Floyd would make a guy whiff, throw a jab, move all the way to the opposite side of the ring and repeat. If that aint running as far as boxing context goes then i dont know what is.

the art of boxing is to hit and not get hit...in floyd's case tho he tries not to get hit 1st, then hits you for ur mistakes...a counter-puncher at best which is why his style is heavily criticized by many.. but he's a winner so I can't argue with that..

I think fighters only resort to fighting flat-footed because they have no choice. and boxers like Mayweather has plenty of options, so he doesnt stand flat footed...., instead he boxes on his toes, just like SRL, SRR, or ali..
