This is by far the most biased and idiotic article I have read thus far on Mayweather-Hatton. This clown is probably one of those sportswriters who covers a boxing event once every five years when a megafight comes up and writes solely based on what he is told or appears to be obvious. He makes Mayweather sound like a lazy, undisciplined, rich, selfish thug who doesn't care about fans and is taking Ricky Hatton lightly and thinks all he has to do is show up to win the fight. He makes Hatton sound like the most wonderful and hardworking person in the world who is a great guy who is loved by every boxing fan in England and America and who has been bullied by Mayweather during the promotion of this fight. He also makes it sound like everyone is showing up or buying the fight to see Hatton only. This entire article is bull****.

Anyone who has seen the 24/7 promotions of both the De La Hoya fight and the Hatton fight or has followed Mayweather's career knows that Mayweather is one of the most disciplined, dedicated and hardworking fighters in history. No one trains harder than Mayweather. Like Hopkins, he stays in fighting shape year round, never takes anyone lightly in spite of the trash talk and, despite his 24/7 persona, he is not a thug. The clown who wrote this didn't mention anything about the charitable work Mayweather does or the friend they profiled on the last 24/7 who he gave a job to when he was down and out. He also didn't say anything about the difficult childhood Floyd had, moving from house to house and being abused by his father who ended up going to prison when Floyd needed him most. He only writes about his ****iness.

Hatton may be extremely motivated for this fight, but Mayweather shows that type of motivation and determination for every fight, not just the big ones. Also, Hatton's previous THREE fights in American drew a total of less than 20,000 fans COMBINED. Mayweather is the attraction in this fight, not Hatton. Also, Fatty Hatton is obviously very undisciplined, gaining 40 pounds between fights. And Hatton has talked a lot more trash than Mayweather during the promotion. If you don't believe that, compare all the articles that have been printed on this site based on Hatton's comments and those based on Mayweather's comments.

I will be glad when this fight is over so I won't have to read any more of this bull****.

Ive seen enough now to make my decison, which i will keep to myself, i watched bits of mayweather training last night courtesy of boxing scene, and i saw bits of the press conference last night.

For what its worth, alot of people over here are picking Hatton to stop mayweather early.

It is getting pretty intense. I am starting to think that a stoppage by either man is a real possibility.

Anything can happen in sport, and much much stranger things have happened than Hatton knocking mayweather out, ****ing Milan 3-0 up in 2005 no one in a million years thought they would lose that game. Somethings are just meant to happen i guess. Regardless of what i say, Mayweather's day will come soon, it happens to all fighters, its a part of the sport,

The first rule of sport is, What you take away, you must give back, hardly anyone leaves at the top, most have to pay their dues before they leave, im still upset at michael schumacher's engine blowing up last year and costing him the world title, Italy being about 20 seconds away from winning Euro 2000 before France Equalised, these things do happen.

Having said that, in times like these, you have to think straight, im seriously nervous, probably more nervous for floyd than i was for Italy in last year's world cup final (mainly because i knew we would win, and i mean 'we' purely in the football sense) but in times like these you gotta stay calm and think with your head.

I saw a few things in the press conference and a few things which a person said, which made me think i had an idea of what they were really thinking, but if im wrong, after the fight ill tell you what that is.

It's humorous really. Whenever you have a fight where there are two strong fanbases on both sides, I get accused of bias by both sides. When both sides equally criticize me, that's when I know I wrote a fair and balanced article.

I hate to say it...but I agree with the original poster.
