Paul Banke was absolutely the nicest fighter I ever met. He had so many personal problems, but fought hard to get rid of them. His mother was a sweetheart as well. I last spoke to Paul on christmas day quite a few years ago. He just dissapeared and I have not been able to locate him. I fear the worst, but hope for the best.
He was a very humble and soft spoken gentleman.

I have met a lot in person and most of them I got their autograph.
Lennox Lewis - Got Autograph immediatley after Bruno fight, I waited out the back by myself by the ambulance. He just ignored me at first then I asked Maloney to ask him to sign my program which he reluctantly did while sat in the ambulance.
Frank Bruno - Met him at the same fight, didn't ask for autograph and just wished him all the best.
Prince Naseem Hamed - At a Nigel Benn fight, it was before he became world champion and nobody knew him. He'd only had about 8 fights and I chatted with him for about half an hour and got his Autograph. This was after the main event had finished he then tried to blag his way into the press conference and security wouldn't let him through and he said "Oh! come on man I'm with the Iranian press"
Chris Eubank - Really nice guy he even joked with me saying my T-shirt was crap (It was one of Nigel Benn) got his autograph.
Nigel Benn - After his fight with Henry Wharton on his exit from the ring. The bastard threw my program over his shoulder when I asked him to sign it saying it wasn't open on a picture of him. I then took it back and he signed it begrudgingly.
Michael Nunn - My all time favourite boxer, got his autograph on his one fight in england the night he bloody lost to steve little the same night Benn fought Wharton. Had Nunn won he was due to meet Benn in a unification fight.
George Foreman - Security wouldn't let me get his autograph just shook his hand.
Mike McCallum - Got his autograph 3 times at various fights held in britain. He was a regular at the big fights.
Prince Charles Williams - Got his autograph at the Honeyghan - Breland fight.
Not a boxer but met Linford Christie the 100m world and Olympic champion at Benn - Eubank first fight and got his autograph.
Others I've met and got autographs of are Colin McMillan,Johnny Nelson.
