    Will.....CAN PAul Williams do this??

Get a title at welter, move to middle, and get one, and then to supermiddle and get one??
RJJ is 5'11"..and a reach of 74...Toney is 5'10" and a reach of 72, and they both moved up...Williams is 6'1", and a reach of 84.....Do you think he can clean house at 3 weight divisions??

    This kid isn't very good.

Learn to discriminate a little bit, boys. At middle this kid won't touch a top fighter. He has the height of a LHW but punches like a bantamweight, and he's uncoordinated.

He beat Margarito, but he's still ****. Sorry.

He SHOULD move to Middleweight cause he'd have NO problems at all making that weight and his size advantages make all other welter's sick. Will he be successful though? He didn't seem to have much pop to his punches and going up two weight divisions would surely exacerbate that frailty. Still, his sheer volume of punching is impressive for any weight.

You forgot 154. Its far too early to say. Those other guys you named were supreme talents and size wasnt a factor with them. The fact is that as of now Williams is huge compared to everyone at 147 but at those other weights he wont be big at all so thats the differnce. Those other guys were all world talents. Williams could be that but he has to have a couple of more fights 1st to prove that and atleast 1 fight at 154 before I say that he can easily change weight classes. One big problem for him is that he has no D at all and he's not a big puncher. That will make it very hard to do that. If he has a hard time hurting top guys at 147 then can he hurt a MW at all? He takes a good punch now but at those weights can he still take them? He's definatly going to get hit alot with that bad D so as of now I would say that he cant go up that far in weight but he's young so that could change

ahhh NO! he may be able to win a title at 154, but 160 is his limit

he's tall, clumsy/uncoordinated, with no power, he better stay at welterweight as long as he can

I think he could get a belt at middel weight maybe super middel weight, but needs to work on his power.

Winky Wright is a much better boxer, on an off day, than Williams can ever think of being. Besides that, Wright throws clean, correct punches but doesn't put much behind them. This kid doiesn't throw a punch that even LOOKS respectable. And he's extremely featherfisted at WW, at middle he'd be the lightest puncher ever to fight professionally at the weight.

                  why is power so important?????
he kan easily outwork and outland his opponents while
                  taking their best shots.....
this is boxing, not a knock out game...
                  the current crop.....
mayweather has no power at 147-154
winky wright has no power at 154-160
pauli mallinagi has no power at 140
                  the old crop
                  james toney no power
                  john ruiz has no power

power is special but its not needed to be a winner
remember folks this is a game of boxing not POWER HITTING

He has no power when he throws flurries, but when he sits down on a punch he has decent power. His uppercut is probably his most powerful punch. He put down Mitchell wth it, and cought Margarito good with it.
