I read the first 2 pages but so far nobody has mentioned Shane Mosley. Shane by far is one of the strongest Welterweights around. I realize he's been at 154 for awhile but at 147 , Shane is an ox.
that who i was gon bring up, glad you caught that **** son
At 140 I'd go for Hatton, then Urango.
Hatton has muscled around some very strong guys, notably Tszyu & Maussa, & Urango also very strong - looks like a junior-middle.
Welter I'd say a toss-up between Cotto & Margarito, followed by Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, & Cintron.
Mosley very strong, but generally relies on his speed;
Williams bloody enormous for a welter, looks like a big middleweight, but would still favour Margarito or Cotto over him in a shoving match.
My vote for 147lbs is Cotto based on him just looking like a tank and the way he throws his sledge hammer hooks. They look so painful. He also is known for tossing opponents around with ease. Did it to Quintana and Torres. At 140lbs, I may have to say Hatton though this Saturday will officially decide it. I'm not jumping no gun either over this Urango guy until the fight Saturday. I saw him once and thought he was really sloppy and slow. I think Hatton should win this if he really is physically stronger, otherwise Hatton will be in for a rough night though I don't think he'll lose.
At Welter Shane Mosely easily. At 154 Vargas who's naturally a big strong guy couldn't bully Mosely in their 2 fights like he said he was going to do. Also Joshua Clottey should be mentioned as well. He was able to stand in front of Marg & not be man handled. At 140 Hatton is very strong as well as Juan Urango. That's why I think Hatton will struggle early against him because of that physical strength. Examples of guys that are physically strong but aren't huge punchers are Winky Wright & Ike Quartey.
