    Predictions for 140 lb divison?

Best division in boxing right now with Khan, Alexander, Bradley, and Maidana. But whats going to happen, theres also Zab Judah, Ortiz, possbily Berto moving down to fight Ortiz and who knows else, Marquez can move up, and also Matthysse.

Im hoping Khan will fight winner of saturdays fight. Then possibly winner fights Marquez, maybe loser of saturday can fight Zab or Ortiz, and winner gets another shot at one of these guys. Hopefully they all fight each other, keep boxing going strong.

What are some predictions of what will happen, who will fight, who will win?

      - Bradley beats Alexander.

      - Mabuza beats Judah for the vacant IBF title.

      - Khan beats whoever he fits in April.

      - Bradley and Alexander have a rematch in the summer, this time on PPV. Bradley wins again.

      - Khan fights Mabuza in the summer to unify the WBA Super and IBF titles (not PPV in the US, but PPV in the UK), or has a super-fight with JMM at 140lbs on PPV in the US and UK. Either way Khan wins.

      - Khan vs. Bradley in December to unify the WBA, WBC, WBO and possibly the IBF titles in order to crown and undisputed champion and lineal champion at 140lbs. Khan wins a very tough and competitive fight, either by close decision or late stoppage.

        I'd like Judah to win.

I'm just another one of those idiots who likes him for no apparent reason.

I think Khan will get Marquez next. But Timmy has been making all the right noises so I hope he gets the fight with Khan - all presuming Amir can beat his next opponent which he should.

Well Ortiz will be moving up im sure. Bradley should beat Devon on Saturday, well at least thats my pick - Tim UD, then he has to face Khan but i like Amir in that one. Khan might make one or two defences first but to be honest i think he will move up in weight straight away! The other 3 guys wont be far behind him either

is wondering why everyone is so sure Khan beats T Brad? I actually have bradley winning that one in a competitive fight by late stoppage.

Why I think Khan beats Bradley:

Timmy is probably the most skillful fighter at 140lbs; he can box well, counter-punch, brawl, and has a decent defense. However all the other advantages are in Khan's favour (except for chin).

                  Bradley:

                  - slightly more skillful
                  - better defense
                  - good heart
                  - good chin (however has been knocked down a couple times before)
                  - can counter-punch effectively.

                  Khan:

                  - slightly faster hands
                  - throws mad combinations
                  - has a world-class jab
                  - has a big size advantage (4 inches in height, and also a big reach advantage)
                  - more powerful punches
                  - also has great heart
                  - Freddie Roach in his corner

I can't see Bradley getting past Khan's jab much tbh. Of course he'll get on the inside of Khan because he's a talented boxer, but Khan is faster and stronger and I doubt Bradley has enough power to stop Khan (however I think that his power is under-rated and his KO ratio can deceive people into thinking he's feather-fisted). Khan is susceptible to uppercuts but I'm sure Freddie would work on this with him and tighten up his defense.

I see Khan going to the body a lot and wearing down Bradley. He'll also be eating a lot of jabs, and quick 1-2 combinations. I see a late TKO or a points victory for Khan. Also, Bradley's got heart but I doubt he'd be able to continue if Khan lands a liver-shot like the one he did on Maidana.

probably due to more british posters post in this forum than americans lol!

Im 50-50 on Khan v Bradley, im edging towards Khan, but Timmy's got a big fight this weekend. Khan looks beatable, a good performance and a win from Bradley and i'll probably change my mind.

I just hope no bull**** prevents the fight between the 2 being made
