    Malinaggi Quits Again

So the biggest chump in boxing quits again.

Granted, it is quite entertaining to watch a dyed in the wool *******ual (I point you towards the hairstyle) getting absolutely annihilated for 11 rounds, but this jive-talking wannbe rapper now needs to have his licence revoked. With the sport in a state of flux, the last thing we need is a ridiculously camp autistic bottle job who throws the towel in whenever the going gets tough. It's cheating the fans, and it's cheating the sport. What's 'Magic' about that?

You're completely deluded. Although maybe you're just upset as you're on your period.

Malignaggi quit against Hatton: FACT. He quit last night: FACT. Hiding behind the ref whilst hanging a limp arm out doesn't constitute wanting to fight on. It was only his corner insisting he fight on, as his pleading eyes begged the ring doctor to put an end to it all. He might as well have been holding a white flag in his limp wrist when the ref finally stopped this joke of a fight.

He looked like a man in drag with those highlights in his hair last night, and he hits almost as hard as one (although not quite). Maybe a future career come to think of it?

I'm not sure where this myth that Malignaggi had a chin and had heart came from to be honest.

You're correct in that this is the second time that he quit. You could see that he wanted no more and basically retreated to the ropes to allow Steve Smoger to step in.

Malignaggi is simply average. His big mouth got him fights that he didn't deserve. He cried robbery in a fight that was so painfully close, ignoring the two disputed decisions that were given to him in the past.

As I said before,Malignaggi stepping up in class = FAIL!

Hopefully this is the last we see of him.

Almost unusual to read a post with a modicum of insight on this site. It's a shocking reflection on the current state of boxing that you can be granted repeated shots at a world title on account of your mouth alone. The manner of his defeats to Hatton and Khan (and the fact he quit both times) should, in any sensible sport, send him straight back to the amateur ranks (or preferably retirement). But no, Paula will no doubt be back, stroking a couple of other **** average fighters around the whiskers, until the next British prospect is sent over to stick him into the speech therapy ward of his local hospital - at least this time it will be for good.

i think the myth came from fighting with a broken orbital bone in his face and getting hammered for 12 rounds against cotto and not quitting.

He is a tough fighter and has got a lot of spirit, you can see that in his fights.

But at the end of the day he just hasn't got what it takes, he is and never was World Champion Material.

He will never get a title shot again, just hasn't got it
