    Best British prospect?

Nathan Cleverly? Kell Brook? Kevin Mitchell? James DeGale? Frankie Gavie? Billy Joe Saunders?

Yeah all of them lol, top 2? Mitchell and Cleverley. Brook is up there too, and don't forget, Fury is only 20, he has loads of time to get better.

Cleverly is not good enough at the very top, he has a shocking defence and will get picked apart against top level.

It would have to be Kevin Mitchell or John Murray.

Kevin Mitchell and Nathan Cleverly will win world titles. The jury is still out on Brook. He has good skills, and natural talent, but he doesn't fight regularly enough to be considered a cert for the top just yet. John Murray doesn't even register with me. I don't think he is capable of beating many top 20 lightweights.

Call me crazy but I'm not sold on Cleverly as a top level boxer. He's too good for the domestic scene, yes, but I don't think he can make any significant waves on the world stage.

Frankie's one of my favourite up and coming British prospects right now if not my favourite but I'm getting kinda worried by his offense, or lack thereof. He doesn't seem to have any bite whatsoever (okay, he has enough to hurt journeymen but it definitely won't translate to the world stage).

His defense and general technique is impeccable but I'm afraid once he really steps up in class he won't be able to keep tough come-forward fighters off him.

Clev and Mitchell are hardly prospects anymore.
Someone whos not been mentioned to keep an eye on would be George Groves.
