This is a very very very good fight.
Honestly, i'd be more excited about this fight than any of the Hatton superfights over the last few years. This would be epic.
Darren Barker probably has the edge in raw ability, Macklin the edge in chin and power, and has the experience of being in a bonafide war with Jamie Moore, Barker doesn't.
Who ever wins this, will probably be a world champion. The loser will take the winner to the next level.
I wouldn't mind: Macklin, Lee, Barker, and even Duddy all mixing it with one another. I have a sneaky feeling my fellow Chelsea boy Barker will prove to be the best, but it wouldn't surprise me if an experienced beyond his years and a constantly improving Macklin comes out on top.Comment

The problem with Barker is that he is a pretty small middleweight, there is not a scrap of fat on him but he is very slight. Certainly not genetically blessed.Comment

Is this official? Cracking fight this should be. Very evenly matched I feel. Barker is more technically sound but Macklin hits harder and is more aggressive. Barker's chin is fine, he spars alot with Froch so imagine it must stand up ok to be able to do that.Comment
