He' a tosser and a manipulative bastard. He protects his fighters too much even when they don't need protecting (Calzaghe and Hatton for example) and I highly doubt this trend will end due to the result of Maccarinelli finally being put in with a good fighter.

He's probably pissed off because he said that he'd retire if David somehow managed to win. But most boxing fans can't stand him.

For one, his ticket prices are disgusting especially for the Haye Macca fight and he completely disregards the undercard ontop of that even to the point of announcing it generally a week or two before the fight.

Take Calzaghe vs Hopkins for instance, one of the biggest fights he has ever promoted only 5 weeks away and still not one officially confirmed undercard fight, or fighter.

Warren doesn't seem to be able to get his British fighters the attention or recognition that they deserve. He has most of his boxers on sky rather than ITV or BBC, which means that fighters like Calzaghe (and countless others) get less recognition than the fighters of previous eras.

Warren fighters also seem to go for the WBO belt a lot more often than any other. If it was the WBC belt then fair enough, but WBO titles are considered the least prestigious of the main four.

Hamed and Hatton are the two fighters of his that have gotten the most American exposure and both ended up deciding that they'd rather not have him as their promoter.

I mean people including me slate Warren, but who else is there? Hennesey is a ****ing diabolical promoter look whats hes done with a great prospect in Murray.... how long it took Froch to step up. Maloney mostly manages and has his political background. We need someone with a bit of cash who isn't scared of putting in fighters with other big names it's the only thing thats holding British boxing back, we have so much talent coming through in the ameteurs i'm just worried that they are going to get ruined and milked through bad promoting? is there a promoter that i've missed in the UK that is half decent?

Wank Warren no longer works with Sky, Sky droped him over fight times.

he goes on about how good he treats his boxers but the only one he puts first is Amir Khan, now ive nothing against Amir he is from my home town of Bolton England and is a good kid, but for his sake i hope he never loses or Warren will drop him like a bag of bricks, it just bugs me how he will put on shows featuring Skelton , Harrison , Sprott and Williams even somehow getting Skelton a title shot so he has the connections to get Jennings a shot, please please please Frank Warren prove me wrong and get one of the best fighters in your stable a chance at a proper title.
Good post, i dont think Jennings is world class but in my eyes he hasn't lost a fight yet.Warren should be forcing the issue of a world title shot a little more.

That will always happen, Warren made a fortune out of Hatton having easy paydays and he is doing the same with Khan.

Should this thread not be called 'Who doesn;t think Warren is an ass'. You owuld be appealing to a much smaller group of people though, basically you would only get replies from Amir Khan lol
