Johnny had the distinction of being the only fighter that had a manager that threw more punches than he did.

Andy has been on many of our radar. As a matter of fact I took a lot of abuse over the years being of the opinion that he could emerge as a talented, compitent challenge to the crown.

It has to do with the difference between what people think Andy does versus what he reallty does. There are smaller heavyweights with good hand speed. But they are not pressure fighters who can walk a fighter down. A pressure fighter with experience enough to fight the same way against any opponent and not back off shows a pressure fighter with experience and confidence.

I like to compare Andy to Areolla. chris could punch, was tough, but could not pressure at a certain level. Andy just fights that way...It would be like LaMotta...He would not back up because he was fighting Sugar!

John Ruiz never had the sophistication or talent of approach that this kid has.
