    How does Hagler win this!?!?

Look at Hagler vs. Hearns and Mugabi, look at Hopkins vs. Trinidad and Pavlek.

Hopkins largely depended on being bigger than his opponents, and didn't have particularly potent offense. He also seemed to be seriously disinterested at times. None of that is Hagler, fine. But don't conflate Hopkins' short-comings with being inferior H2H against Marvin.

Hagler was known for pursuing poor strategy. So, more likely than not he fumbles here against 'Nard, who won't play to Hagler's strengths like Sibson did. But even at his best, what does he do!? He's not gonna take Hopkins off balance with his jab. He's not going to force a fire-fight with a smaller man.

Hagler doesn't recklessly charge in and stay there, getting countered like Trinidad and Pavlik, but any time he tries to pressure Hopkins, he gets checked.

This one isn't particularly difficult to predict. Hopkins by wide UD.

Idk, tough to say, especially if we look at the fact that Leanard gave him a tough time. A prime Hopkins vs prime Hagler goes a trilogy I think.

Hopkins's chin was incredible, so that fight isn't getting stopped.

Looks like you watched the Trinidad fight and jumped to conclusions... Its ok Rusty baby a lot of casuals do... Now go back and look at some of whom Hopkins fought, guys like Tarver for example, and obvious bigger Middleweights like Taylor...come on try it, it won't hurt and you might learn something!

Not trying to make you scream "hiya!" or anything, but do you mind telling us how Hagler takes Hopkins off his game?

And don't pretend you've seen the Taylor fight. We all know you need other people's opinions to formulate your own perspective.

            Who stopped Hopkins though?

Kovalev would've ****d Hagler so bad that all the proctologists around Boston would've been working overtime.

Hopkins has abundant personal flaws. But his defense and size would've left Marvin "I guess now i'll just start swinging" Hagler in fits.

              - -Little Banty Mills lane, Super Joe, Roy Jones, Chad Dawson, and Just Another Joe Named Smith.

Only Smith got credit because Popkins being with Goldenboy almost always had the ref in his pocket. By the time of smith, his histrionics finally became an embarrassment to great to bear.

Though I think Hopkins won the Taylor fights, both of them, Taylor was able to have some success because he was a big physical, strong Middle weight. Hagler has that kind of strength and a whole lot more tools to work with. Keep up, I posted this already and it should answer your question about taking Hopkins off his game. Pressure, strength, are things that can often undermine a technical fighter.

                  Bwahahaha!

You must tell the best bedtime stories at your pajama parties!

I do how you can look at Taylor and Hagler and believe they're the sane size. You clearly never Boxed, and don't know the most fundamental facts about S&C and weight-cutting.

Hagler regularly came in below 160. And he often had to beat STRONGER men with skill. He was anything BUT a **** Tiger, Mickey Walker, or even Michael Nunn type.

Hopkins survived Kovalev's offense. He made Toto and Kelly look like shyte. Maaa'vin ain't bullying him.

Now back to the pine boards.

Too bad I never said Taylor was the same size as Hagler, put the big jug that you take your liquor "neat" in down...

                    Lol the karate theme.

Do you read the posts? Or just respond to what you think they ought to say?...serious question here.

So you don't even remember what you said? Or you don't want to be accountable for it?

Kinda like when you said Maxim is better than Louis. Or how you claim Garcia and Basillio beat Conn and Fullmer, respectively.
