      Very interesting. Between the drugs and Don King, Dokes had a roller-coaster life. I think a combination of the boxing and drugs ruined his mind as well as his body.


      I've watched the first Weaver fight a few times. The stoppage was one of the most bogus I've ever seen.

        Holyfield-Dokes was possibly the best HW fight of the 80s.

          Good article. Like a life flashback it brings back memories of his career. His flamboyance, his wars, his love for Marty Cohen and his many comebacks.
