It seems every now and then some imbecile comes along with an agenda stating that modern fighters are uncategorically bigger and better...some of these jackwads like Leroy have a laugh value....Juggy has no laugh value, but these idiots stain the walls of this section with BS.

here are some names: Valuev, Fury, Price....all big guys who are not particularly strong punchers.... You ignore this type evidence and simply speak nonsense at every turn.
Let me try to explain this for the slow one more time: Just because Lewis and Vlad punch hard and happen to be big, does not make a correlation between size and weight.
Equally ridiculous is your assertion that in MMA because of the dimensions of the skills weight differention is cancelled....WHERE DO YOU GET NONSENSE LIKE THIS? Listen idiot could it be that fighters learning how to counter different strategies and becoming proficient in more skill sets make modern MMA fighters better? Gracie technique was originally designed to counter superior size....it wasn't always pretty but (watch Rorian's old fights) the techniques worked to take away strength from an opponent....but when these techniques were countered their original purpose made them relatively unevolved....thats simply a fact and if you do MMA you should know that.
You just have this ****** one track mind where you assume things without looking at them. Anyone around MMA for the last few years would tell you that the advantage of technique that is unfamiliar has gone away from the sport! Yes now and then new techniques appear, but the job of trainers is to teach fighters how to counter these developments.
