Pads have been around since the 1950's. They weren't used as trainers believed they had limited teaching use.

They were originally used to work on a boxers flaw when executing a specific punch. They would then go back to the heavy bag and continue their training.

That's a tough one. Audley Harrison has beat great fighters such as Danny Williams and hung tough with ATGs such as David Haye and Deontay Wilder.

What did Sonny Liston ever do? He got smoked by a light-fisted cruiserweight by the name of Cassius Clay and struggled against bums such as Zora Folley and Cleveland Williams

I learned a long time ago that when the *******s want to demonstrate in Skolkie ( a ***ish neighborhood) when the religious zealots want to go to a good soldgers funeral with signs saying he will burn in hell....It tests all our patience and as hard as it is, all of us, Ray included, have to learn that free speech needs bad people, idiots and other assorted near do wells, to test it at all times.

I don't support banning you but I do think it is high time you understand what you really do here, all humor aside:

a) you piss off people who contribute real knowledge.

b) You never present any evidence of your assertions. That is why they are trolling. You claim there is evidence and then claim others do not present evidence when in fact, you virtually NEVER present any proof of your contrarian points of view. have you ever heard of the saying "extraordinary assertions require extraordinary proof" If you want to say something so inflammatory as what you are saying on this thread then present proof of your assertion

c) because otherwise you are simply being inflammatory.

d) Again, I don't support banning. I do think that there should be consequences in this section when someone is unwilling to give a basis for extraordinary opinions.
