pulled down on his opponent's head literally as much as he could get away with. late in his career it was his first answer for not having legs. second was his chin

might not catch your eye like evander holyfield weaponizing the front of his skull, but it's prolific cheating and something ali got away with through much of his career. you just can't do that. i think ali's speaks to the idea of "rule bending," whereas evander holyfield was just a flat out dirty fighter.
