    A Few RJJ Questions...

...if he had stayed at just middle and super middle, AND fought all the best of those 2 divisions, how do you think he'd have done during his prime years?

Also, at those 2 weights and at his prime, how would he have done against the ATG's at those weights, prime for prime?

I felt that super middleweight was Roy Jones Jnr's best weight. Quite honestly, at his best I'd be confident putting him in with any 160-168 Lb in history.

And yes he'd surely dominate these weights in his prime between 1993 and 2003.

I've studied all the greats on film and have never seen speed, combinations or athleticism like Roy Jones at his best. The guy was incredible!

He seems to receive criticism for his punch resistance these days after his several worrying stoppage losses. Honestly, in his prime his punch resistance seemed much better.

      Thanks for the reply.

I don't think anyone would have beaten him during his prime era. Sure he could have been caught with a lucky shot, but not likely. I hate when people say he ducked so many good fighters, the number of guys he made look like crap ended up being champions and had pretty good careers, and only were considered bums when they fought Roy!

I wonder how he'd do against guys like Hagler and some of the best from the past at those weights though. I think it would be VERY difficult for anyone to beat him (not saying nobody could now mind you). As you stated, he didn't have a glass chin during his better days, and he was so fast and elusive, he'd give many guys fits.

I always felt he'd defeat Darius by KO.

Roy was a special fighter. Shame he faced so many average guys and just a few notable names.. His resume still beats Darius' though.
