    what do you make of it? i know they "calibrate" these rankings through numbers, whatever numbers those are, so where do you agree disagree?

    I believe it's based on;

    - Wins over high ranked fighters
    - Wins over fighters who are undefeated
    - Wins via stoppage

    I don't have a Top 20 P4P list as I'm still learning but that list doesn't feature Pep, Leonard, Gans, Duran, SRL etc. Monzon wouldn't crack my top 20 and the majority of the fighters are too high/low.

        It's bad, but I've seen far worse.

          i suppose that's not a terrible way to concoct a list, but the glaring absences of some of those you mentioned makes it an eh list.

              Boxrec is a brilliant factual tool.

              P4P list is not strictly based on facts. There are 100's of factors.

              P4P lists are fun & good for arguing over in pubs or on forums.

              Boxrec is good for fact checking.

                Hving to have a best pound for pound fighter at ALL times is just getting ridiculous to hear!!! Best P4P guys come along every once in a while, why does there NEED to be one active at all times. I see NO best P4P guy fighting right now!!! I understand picking Pac because of his success jumping over weight classes with seemingly ease or Mayweather having a flawless record but the guys they beat in their era were ALL falling out of their best at the time they fought them. I'll argue that Shane was as good or better in regards to over all talent and offering a will to win during his best years!!
                Give the P4P a rest theres some lil guy at 115 that probably the P4P best right now and he's in the jungle or Thailand right now. Ray.

                so many fans are so "needy"!

                    The names in bold print are my unedited version of fighters that don't belong under any criteria.

                    And don't get my started on the glaring omissions... Duh!
