Just checked my card in the score card thread and i had it 116-112 Hagler with Hagler sweeping rounds 7 through 12. It felt alot closer than the numbers indicate but thats sometimes the case eh.

SRL tried to nick that fight with flashiness and flurrys at the end of rounds but for the most part Marvin was the one doing the real work

Okay Jim, 6-4-2 Sugar Ray Leonard. Jim I gotta tell ya, I just think Leonard outworked the guy, he gets in, gets off and doesn't get hit.

Haven't seen the fight in a while actually, I'll rewatch it but that's the score I usually come back to.

Leonard won I don't even get why it was so controversial. Hgaler chased him around the ring instead of cutting it off and he let Leonard get off combos when ever he wanted to.

Leonard 7-4-1. Could have gone either way, but I definitely gave the fight to SRL. Simply put, Leonard made Hagler fight his fight.

I feel it's a closer fight than the consensus believe.

But, it's a fight I felt Hagler won.
