man thats a hard one to name.
    hearns/duran & tyson/berbick was sick.
im only 19 so i obviously wasnt around when it happened.
but the one i saw live and was amazed at was martinez vs williams 2.
their 1st fight was so close so it was a shock, just watching paul's eyes wide open and him laying on the mat like that. it was crazy because when he hit the canvas, the cameraman zoomed into his eyes, i wont forget it. its probably one of my fav moments in boxing to this day.
martinez vs williams 2 would have to be my favorite 2nd round knockout, but greatest, in terms of biggest names, i would say hearns/duran.

A quick search would reveal it, but I think the final tally was about...eleven knockdowns? Thinking Dempsey was floored twice, & poor Firpo, nine times. Great testimony to his commitment to victory that he not only rose from four or five knockdowns to twice floor Dempsey, but also scored the most famous knockdown in the entire fight.

It was the first time a HW Champion had ever endured the indignity of having been knocked clean from the ring, & of course became a lasting image in Boxing history...

Yea i remember bert sugar talkin about that fight on espn it was a list for either greatest fights or greatest knockouts but yea he had it up there near the top of the list. I believe he mentioned firpo as being the first latino to challenge for the heavyweight title? ATG fight tho for sure i have to check it out for myself

I can say that may be the most shocking knockout i have seen live as well, just the suddeness of it, how they fought so even the first time and actually the fisrt round looked like this fight would pick up where the first one left off and for it to just end so abruptly was amazing. The look in paul's eyes had me worried, he looked like a dead fish lol

Martinez-Williams is the greatest KO I ever saw live. The shot landed and Williams dropped like timber. We were all quiet for like half a second and then exploded. It was as exciting as anything I've ever seen. So I've got to vote for that one.

                      Foreman- Norton
                      Hearns-duran
                      Hearns- cuevas
                      Tyson-berbick
                      Lewis- grant
                      Hearns-Cuevas
                      Curry-McCrory
                      Tarver- jones 2
                      Pacquiao- Hatton
                      Martinez- Williams 2

What are some of your favorite 2nd round kos?
Those are classic a few others that pop up are
                      Gaby Canizales-Miguel Lora
In a battle of former champs for the wbo belt, Lora drops Canizalez and when he goes in for the kill BAM walks into a big punch!

                      Alex Garcia-Bernard Benton(brutal)
Benton gets stuck in the corner in round two and Garcia knocks him out.
But Benton stays up and Garcia continues to hit him. The referee seemingly is not paying attention the brutality goes on way to long. As a result the referee was banned form boxing for a long time.

                      Kermit Cintron-Walter Dario Matthysse
                      He's not Getting up!
