If you haven't caught this on HBO many years ago or on Youtube recently, here is a nice documentary on the Manassa mauler that was made in 1990.

Some insightful comments by Ray Arcel among others, and pretty clean footage of Dempsey's fights and life outside of the ring.

I watched it yesterday after stumbling upon it by chance. Here is the first part.
