In the 90's the heavyweight division was all over the place. With Mike Tyson in prison there was many champions but who would you say was the best heavyweight? From 1990-1999????

My fav of the lot would probably be Holyfield, but I think Lewis was probably the best of the bunch.
I think once he joined with Manny Steward he became a near unstoppable monster.
Yea he got lazy at times (well alot of the time actually) and lost because of it, but when he was on song he took down everyone that he shared a ring with.

For me it has to be Holyfield winning the title then winning it back of Bowe, Defeating Tyson twice.

Taking the entire decade into account, I go with Holyfield overall.
Bowe had the most promise......and I've got a feeling that prime for prime, he might have been the heavyweight with the most ability in the decade too.
Lewis has a very good record over the decade, one loss avenged. But prime Holyfield vs prime Lewis? I lean towards Holyfield by decision. I think Bowe beats Lewis too.
As for quality of opposition, Holyfield.
Defying the odds? Holyfield. How many times was he underdog again?
Most entertaining fights? Holyfield
