Differences Between Modern Boxing and Ancient Boxing:
There is a vast difference between the boxing of today and ancient boxing. Right from the way the fights took place to the attire and accessories, ancient boxing was totally different as compared to modern boxing.

modern boxers lack stamina, toughness, skills as well as there are no great trainers today who can teach the art of the sport which is 90% mental preperation

not much is known about ancient boxing. most ancient boxing knowledge are just assumptions from pottery and drawings. for example, they say ancient boxing there was no time limits or rounds. but there had to be a time limit or something to restrict the length of boxing matches. for example, boxing matches only took place during certain hours on a certain day. for example, the greek olympic boxing was held on the afternoons. For example, my thesis for my ancient greek class, (i dumbed down my thesis so you can guys understand it better). Ancient boxing was sport that had to have time restrictions, punching restrictions and a certain amount of punches that could be thrown. i ended up getting a A+ in that class it was sick.
