As a rule of thumb I think you are best with biographys on boxers than autobiographys to be honest

I have no problem accpeting that this is Sam Langford, though I have my doubts...but helping Joe after the Max fight is the one I am curious about...I never knew that any thing like this happened since, it is big....No newspaper nothing like that...whatever still.Sam was known in public till atlleast 1935-36 after which he wandered away to oblivion. I guess 'helping' Joe might be a bit of a strong term for Langford's possible meetings with Joe post Schmelling 1. I doubt that he was employed in a professional capacity, but I dont doubt that wise words from an old experienced character like Langford may well have dragged Louis 'out of the dumps' as it were following that defeat. Perhaps he was brought in, in an emotional capacity.

Someone will know the true answer to this one. It seems a bit poor for the biopic to focus on events which were a complete fallacy.....and could have been questioned, but you never know?!

From a spy , bullfighter , casino owner(brothel), spoke several languages , hunted by Mexican government, ****en The Mata Hari , getting plastered W/ Ras***** ,can jump backwards ten feet !
