The best performance from a fighter who was 40+...

Hopkins wins over tarver and pavlik are obvious choices. What other fighters have rolled back the years on one certain night?

Archie Moore - Yvon Durelle of course Moore was 45 at the time.

      Larry Holmes - Ray Mercer

      Evander Holyfield - Nikolay Valuev

      George Foreman - Michael Moorer

Archie Moore - Harold Johnson V

Seems like this mainly happens with larger fighters...

Roy Jones wins over Jeff Lacy & Omar Sheika even though they weren't fantastic opponents, were still pretty sweet victories to watch.

47, and beat the hell out of him is a stretch. He did get robbed tho.

                nice ones.

Ill also add Roberto Duran vs Jorge Fernando Castro. Duran was 46, Castro was rated #6 or 7 in the Middleweight division.
not bad for a former lightweight.

oh yea, Thomas Hearns beat Nate Miller when he was 40 or 41. Nate was the WBC Cruiserweight champ 2 fights before, so its an OK win.

Larry Holmes vs Oliver McCall, razor close...........Holmes was 46 or 47 and his jab was still terrific!

Herol Graham vs Chris Johnson was another good old man's display.
