if Hagler moved up to 175, and Marciano went down to that, who would win?

The lowest Rocky was 180, but if he took off 5lbs and Hagler put on 15, what would be the result?

Rocky would be able to take everything that Hagler could throw at him.Hagler would be unable to hurt Marciano.I forget his name, but he was Middleweight Champion and Hagler beat him,but lost the decision. But this is the kind of fight Marciano would fight, but alot more effective.

Marciano could hit harder than him.Marciano would put on even more pressure than he put on Hagler.Rocky would come on even stronger than him in the late rounds. He would walk right though anything Marvin would hit him with.I forget his name....He was Middleweight Champion, and Hagler beat him but lost the decision.I watched that fight many times.

Marciano would be to strong for Hagler. He would rough up Marvin on the inside.Elbows, shoulders, his head, and of course his short powerfull punches.I believe Hagler would become demoralized.I see Marciano winning a clear UD,something like 9-6 or 10-5.

Help me out....What was that Middleweight champion that Hagler beat but lost the decision?

Hagler fought Vito Antuofermo (spelling taken from boxrec) to a draw and failed to win the world title at his first attempt. He won it from Alan Minter and then defeated Antuofermon in a rematch to keep his title.

Thank you,it's much appreciated. His name was just on the tip of my tounge.

That's right,it was a draw....But Hagler won the fight in almost everyone's opinion.

              Mismatch indeed .
The lowest Rocky ever was as a pro was 178 and not 180.
He could have made 175 no problem.
See my thread about top 10 LHW of 1940-1960 for an argument about it.
Hagler , however , was a small MW whom never had trouble making the 160 limit. A bad mismatch which Rocky would have probably win by stoppage , but no shame in it for Hagler , as Rocky would have been just as much outgunned himself by someone like say Tyson or Tua.

Hagler! Marciano would be so weak he's have a hard time standing up.
