what is the most you have paid for a fight or seen for sale

Most people I know sell in DVD form, not demanding a higher or lower price on a particular fight.

I do know that there are some very rare fights out there that many don't know even exist, but I've never heard anyone claim they have Cerdan vs Williams. As I said, I know that atleast one Holman Williams fight exists, but two? I don't believe someone would just sit on a gem like Cerdan vs Williams.

A few weeks? Make that a year ago. I may have ridiculed knn in the past, but I don't think he's such a bad poster actually. One can have a reasonable discussion with him.

those are mainstream fights you are talking about which are traded about the internet fight for fight by guys who shoot their fight-list to anyone who has the time to look through it and then will set up a trade if they see a fight they dont have, i am talking about rare historical footage which i know exists that historical collectors like Rothoscope, sonnyboyx2, Thomas huber (Germany) and others have in their possession and will not put it into the public domain, Cerdan -vs- Williams is small fry compaired to some of the fights they have

I've seen more and more rare fights appear on the internet daily.

Klompton, who I'd say is a reliable, knowledgeable poster with an extensive collection of fights, said Williams vs Cerdan didn't exist but another Williams fight did, maybe Williams vs Walzack?

Raging_B|_|LL has a quite extensive collection as well, don't think he ever claimed to have Williams vs Cerdan although he does have some footage of Robinson-LaMotta V I believe.

I know what you mean by mainstream but I have rare fights and I know many people who have rare fights, if Cerdan vs Williams existed it would be news for me but at this point it would hardly surprise me, knowing what's out there.

Because it's pointless and threads like this belongs on the Thunderdome. I've done it before but I won't be doing it again. At this point, as long as I can have a somewhat civil discussion with another poster regardless of their point of view, I'm satisfied.

I'd rather have a discussion with someone who thinks Oliver McCall was a top 25 ATG and sticks to defending their opinion than someone who thinks Robinson is p4p the greatest and resorts to back-handed insults.

I'm not saying it was OK for me either. However it was a year ago and I won't be doing it again.

sonnyboyx2 has unique opinions, some of which I disagree with but he has a right to his opinion. You can't deny that some of the most pro-longed arguments, mostly about Lennox Lewis, have been started by him, for better or worse.
