If Bowe was in peak condition i'd have to favor him probably via late ko, would of been a hella brutal fight though.

As we all know though Bowe wasn't exactly always committed to his training and staying in form, it could of gone either way.

Bowe would certainly turn up for this one in a similar condition to the first Holyfield fight.

I cant see him losing, he has Lewis beat for handspeed, workrate and chin. Arguably at this point boxing ability too. His power was at least the equal of Lewis and hell he was just as big too. I'd favour a Bowe stoppage win.

I dont want to upset Lewis fans, I'm a fan myself and rank him in my top ten greatest heavyweights. But the best Lewis came four years later with Manny Steward in his corner. We all know that Lennox would beat the post 1995 Bowe who fought Golota, but that isn't what this thread is about.

I believe that Bowe was the better fighter in 93, but I don't think he really believed so.. If he'd have plucked up the confidence for the fight to actually take place, then I think he'd have won, but the uncertainty would have shown, and it would have been by a very close decision on unsteady legs.. Any time after 95, Lewis would have trounced him, but 93 = Bowe by SD..

I like the fact that you noticed the year 1993 and came with an arguement for 1995. And I agree on your points of view!
