    Why didnt fighters ever go to Mike Tysons

    body? he was so square and a big target

    did any commentator or historian/trainer w.e ever mention that

      Because his pre-Douglas opponents where too busy running for their lives to generate any offense of their own. For the record, post-Douglas Evander Holyfield DID go to Tyson's body.....and put Mike on his arse with a body-shot.

        correct... Tysons opponents was looking to survive the onslaught and very few could or did operate their own game plan

          You do realize when you go to the body you leave yourself open upstairs right? Tyson also had a square compact body that doesnt look like you could do much damage to it anyway.

                    the berbick fight i saw long ago , the bruno fight , more recently , and he did try fighting tyson in both of their fights.
